help needed with my lawn please

    I know here in the U.S, companies like Green Thumb and Tru-Green, basically hire high-school kids to do squirt & ferts, and the outcome is usually sub-par while separating you from your hard earned $$. Maybe it's different in the UK or could be a different company altogether. I couldn't tell you.

    I would recommend looking into this company if they are local to you:

    I have no experience with them, but I have heard they do good work.

    Unfortunately this company is too far away from me to help. Struggling to find one near by..

    Just out of interest is it worth letting my clippings fall to the lawn instead of collecting them? Isn't this meant to retain some of the goodness?

    It all depends. If you have a lot of thatch present now it would be a good idea to keep bagging. Typically fertillizing and irrigation along with aerating are the best ways to keep a healthy lawn.
