I've just had to buy a new short block to replace the old one which was blowing oil out of the top seal. After tear down I found the crank diameter down my .005" and the bushing badly worn. In their infinite wisdom Kawasaki do not sell the bushing as a spare part, only the complete crank case half. Add to that the cost of a new crankshaft and seals and it turned out cheaper to buy the short block.
My only needs for the rebuild are:

    1) Torque settings for the cylinder heads.

    2) How to initially set the governor.

I know I've read posts in this forum and somewhere the torque settings are lurking BUT I've also seen posts advising not to touch the governor but unfortunately I have no choice.

    Can someone please help.
