I am just curious if anyone could guesstimate what a pallet of bermuda sod weights cut about 3/4 below surface level and will cover approx 500 sq ft per pallet. I am going to pick some up and dont want to over load my trailer

Weight can vary too much to give you a correct answer. I've hauled pallets that weighed approx 2100lbs to over 3400lbs. A good amount of the weight is how wet the grass is. What you can do is this. Take a piece of sod from 2nd row of the pallet. Weigh it on a scale. Whatever weight that is, muliply it by the number of pieces of sod that are on the pallet. That should get you a close estimate of the weight.
