When i was trying to grease the fittings on my ZTR i pulled a fitting out of my front swivell, the whole thing came out threads and everything, i think these are the smaller type fittings (the circumfrence of the thread section seemed small compared to other fittings ive seen).

How should i repair this, i think i may have stripped the threads on the female end?

Buy a new fitting. Install with some epoxy on the threads (after cleaning the threads of all grease). Be careful when greasing that one in the future.

I would not epoxy the zerk, just re-tape the hole to the next size zerk

My question is why are you greasing the caster bearings on a Dixie Chopper anyway? You're only supposed to grease them once a year.
