does anyone have a fuel hose diagram for a stihl br550 backpack blower?
i am confused as i have replaced all the fuel lines and carb but the primer is not working right. also replaced fuel filter in tank. i have tried to swap lines around but still no fuel coming through primer. i hooked the primer up directly to fuel lines from tank and it works but when i connect it back up to carb. it does not work. i give:hammerhead: help please

    I'll try.
Remember, the fuel goes from the filter/tank to the carb, through the carb, then to the primer bulb, then back to the tank. Simple, huh ?

    1. from the fuel filter to the brass ell on the carb.

    2. From the carbs plastic ell to the short nipple on the primer.

    3. From the primer long nipple to the tank.

I bought a non running 550 that the guy used to fat of a fuel line and it was pinched when placed in the channel and put back together.

Try swapping the lines on the primer bulb, see what happens.
Can you suck fuel thru the carb manually? I use a mity-vac, or my Stihl vac/pressure tester, but I reckon you can suck on the fuel line. Could be a stuck inlet needle. Could be the check valves in the primer are shot. Is the primer assy. new?
