What type Fescue handles the most shade and the most heat?
I have some areas that are mostly shade [yes I know all turf grass prefers full sun] and I over seed the thin St Augustine with the Fescue. I do not like the way the K31 seems to clump so I have just been using something that Home Cheapo sells. I thought some of you Northern or Trans zone could give me a good recommendation.

Our heat should be close, so how does it do in the shade?

My cousins husband just put some down. So far it is handling the heat well, but it is a little early to really tell....

Around here, fescue is the only thing we can get to grow in the shade. Out of all the varieties that I have tried, I like this one the best so far. There is one area on the north side of my house that doesn't get any sun at all and I have a hard time getting the fescue to grow there.
I will pm you some pictures.
