I just got a job for a renovation on three properties for a client and just want some advice on the best way to do it. I have never done one before so I bid it high and was supprised when we got it. The main one had a pool so the yard is tore up where it was and it has a terrace that he wants softened. we are going to sod the terrace and where the pool was and slit seed the rest. we want to use a dingo with the cultavator attachment to prep the yard but do we have to cut the old sod out or can we just mow it to the ground and get away with just cultivating it? we are going to use the mini ex attachment to do the terrace unless there is a easier less expensive way to do it. I'm sorry this is so wordie, but any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

You are going to lay sod over dead clumps of old grass?
