I've never bid anything this large, any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's the property: 3.5 acres, approximatley 1200' of edging and trimming. It is a retirement center. Most of the mowing is pretty open except for around a V-shaped building. I'm thinking about 315.00 a week, am I even close? 90% of the mowing will be done with a ZTR and around the building I plan on mowing with a WB.
    Thanks

If your largest cut is 34" and there is very much open mowing.

    I would be:

    1 hour 60" ZTR = $65
    1 hour 34" ZTR = $60
    2 hours trimming = $75
    1 hour edging = $40
    1 hour cleanup = $40

Total = $295 or so, but $315 is a good bid if there is not a lot of competition and you have good references, plus $315 allows margin for error.

My number totaled close to KB's. I would also come in around 285 - 295 per trip using a 61" & 48" SCAGs.

Only 1200' of trimming and edging sounds pretty low for a facility on 3.5 acres.

    Good luck with your bid.
