    Hey guys,

I'm hoping you can give me a hand with a small flower/plant arrangement. The client has a 5' radius garden in the middle of the yard. Full sun. He is looking for something extremely low maintenance (no watering...) that will look nice, but now block the house/ view of the front door.
I was thinking of putting a red japanese maple in the middle of it and I'm looking for some ideas on what else to add. I was thinking maybe doing some different color petunias mixed together with a spike or two around them. Maybe skip the japanese maple all together?
I'll try and get some pictures up for tomorrow!
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hostas don't do full sun very well, worse than hydrangeas actually... Japanese Maple would look nice for sure but is risky... Petunias is a great choice... They have doubles now too... the only other thing I can think of more 'low maintenance', than petunias, would be a statue...

The statue idea is awesome. The customers going on tuesday to take a look at them. I suggested we do a pond with a statue in the back or a bubbling rock. He likes the price of a statue better than a pond and statue haha. We're going to do that and give a japanese maple a try

    Thanks smallaxe!

Unless deer are a major issue, you may want to look at pazazz or rio portulaca for some color.
