imo, waste of time on a mower deck, but superior for hedger blades

scrape the bottom of the deck or use a pressure washer under it which takes less than 5 min.

I use fluid film anywhere that i would use wd40. It stay's on way longer and seems to do a better job. I use it on my boat engine for winter storage as well, and always keep my plow covered in it.
If you read the story on why fluid film was invented it gives you good insight as to how good it is. They made it for container ships to keep them from rusting away.

For winter guys or someone around sand, it works wonders on zippers. Don't forget keys and door locks.

Spray it on your mower seat and see what happens
