We have been doing an extensive amount of grub damage repair in a particular neighborhood, since people have seen us doing it, and now everyone wants it done. Along with grub treatment, we are reseeding using a thatcher to prepare the seedbeds, using starter fert., and then I'm using shredded paper mulch to hold the moisture. (Much the same thing as "lawnpatch", but much cheaper to make ourselves) Anyway, I'm looking for a great way to spread the mulch. I've been breaking it up using a mesh screen into an old Agrifab spreader, and using that to spread it. This works o.k., but it tends to clog at times, and it's not REal fast. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to spread this stuff a bit faster? (Other than a hydroseeder..... I know... :D ) Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
