I go with $40 an acre so at 15 that is $600. How many on the crew? What do you feel you have to charge to turn a profit? What kind of commercial is it?

    A flat 15 acres, mow, minimal trim and edge, $20 stop fee and $1 per K sf of lawn = 15 x 43.560sf = 653,400sf of lawn x $1 per K + $20 stop fee = $673.40

    Your fertilizer ??? Sorry.

That is a huge fertilizer job.
What type of equipment are you planning on using to apply it with?

Is this a one time fertilizing or are you contracting for a year program?
I am not sure of the applicators laws in Michigan but here in Wisconsin anyone can apply fertilizer. But it has to just be fertilizer.
What formulation are you looking for? What is the property used for? You should be able to get fert for much less than $20.00 per bag and with the amount you will need, you should get a real good price?
Give me some particulars and I'll give you a ballpark figure.

First off, turn off the CAPS. Thank you.

Secondly, the usual asked question. Are you certified by the state to apply weed control products for hire? If not, you cannot apply any product with a herbicide. You can apply a straight fertilizer with NO herbicides. Your question about how many bags of fert makes me think you probably shouldn't bid on something so large that could turn out bad in the end. Fertilizing 15 acres is a big area. Applying a product in any manner otherwise specified on the bag is against the law. Knowing application rates and overlap patterns is everything to fertilizing. I wouldn't practice on a 15 acre piece of land.

If you know all this stuff, disregard my post. Thank you, please drive thru!
