well i finally took delivery of my new 777 with a stripe roller, of which ive never used , now, do i cut first then stripe or do it all at once? the roller is made solid and attaches the rear of the deck , my dealer set it so when i mow at 3'' it rolls along, but i feel like that will give an uneven cut, because it moves the deck up and down according to the contour of the ground? right??? my thought was to move the roller up so it makes contact at say 1.5'' then it would be out of the way when cutting but still available, but then wouldnt my front anti scalp wheels need to be set to high?? any help would be great!! thanks!!!

All at once ( thats how the simplicity runs anyway) its called a floating deck and when the rollers go over somthing higher it lifts the deck and keeps from scalping
