I ordered an Hour Meter from Northern Tool, and I have no idea how to hook it up. There are no wires with the meter, do I need to go get some, or just use the wires on the engine. Im hooking it up to a 25hp kawi, Ferris walkbehind. Im not very good with electronics so any help would be appreciated. The hour meter I got from northern tool is SM10010.

Should be someplace to connect 2 wires, one for ground one hot. Hot wire can be connected too any existing wire or place that is hot when your ignition is on. If you connect to a wire that is hot all the time the meter will run all the time. I went through this a few years ago on a JD lawn tractor and it's not too hard , just take your time.

Should I go out and get wire, or do I just connect it to existing wire, The hour meter didn't come with wire.

You are going to have mount that somewhere, and bridge the gap. So you will need wire.
