I remember seeing a drop in sprayer unit that you put into a push spreader that would allow you to spot spray while you are putting down dry fert.
I will be using my permagreen for large lawns and use the push spreader for smaller ones.I like the ability to spray any broadleafs that are up during the early spring dry application. If anybody has any information on this unit or has used one please let me know what you think.I am also going to upgrade my push spreader what do you guys think the best one is?

My idea is best. No ego involved here, LOL! I built a sort of holster for my one-quart hand sprayer and attached it to my spreader. My version fitted inside the hopper without interfering with normal filling with fert. But you can hang a "cupholder" for your hand sprayer anywhere on your spreader.

Scotts, now sold by Andersons, (and probably made by Prizelawn) makes the best spreader. However, Earthway makes a good one and their 50 pound stainless model weighs 16 pounds less than Scotts and Lesco. Its easier to push and easier to lift onto your truck.

That in theory looks pretty awesome, I wonder how accurate it is for spot spraying.

wegomow, it IS THE way to go. promise. now it doesw have a wide swath so if its just one weed you would be better off with a hand spayer. but a cluster of weeds this is good. also if you want to broadcast post this is a great was to do it. 2 gallons cover 15,000 sp ft. i broadcasted celcius on a 15,000 sq and it cleaned it right up.
