I tested five herbicides against spotted spurge. Quicksilver,T-Zone, Speedzone, Surge, and a generic three-way. Speedzone was most effective; T-zone was a close second. The remaining products were only fair. I tested the above products at high rates at 90 degrees; it was 94 as a high in the next two days. I sprayed a half sq foot spot 6 times for each product . Temperature was 94 as a high in next two days. There was no sign of injury to the grass which was in light shade. Grass species was fine fescue and bluegrass. What is your experience? Have you caused damage from herbicide at high temperatures?
