    Axl:

Have you got the spacers and flat blades installed and running?
If so can yo tell much difference?

    Thanks for the info.

If I am planning on using a mulch kit exclusively, does it really matter if my discharge opening is larger or enlarged anyway? I assume the new blades will help alot though. Can these new blades be doubled, and if so how does the spacer interfere, or doesn't it? Thanks

The discharge opening will not make a bit of difference in mulching mode.
The spacers and new mulching blades will.
The following shows the blades that are available for the new decks.

    52” deck side discharge
795526 Blade (the unit ships with this blade) fusion, hi-lift sail, flat, clockwise rotating
783753 Blade (optional) low-lift sail, flat, clockwise rotating
794198 Blade (optional) mulch, flat, clockwise rotating
785436 Blade (optional) Gator, flat, clockwise rotating

    60” deck
795252 Blade (the unit ships with this blade) fusion, hi-lift sail, flat, clockwise rotating
793380 Blade (optional) mulch, flat, clockwise rotating
794859 Blade (optional) Gator, flat, clockwise rotating

    72” deck
795260 Blade (the unit ships with this blade)fusion, hi-lift sail, flat, clockwise rotating
793398 Blade (optional) mulch, flat, clockwise rotating
794867 Blade (optional) Gator, flat, clockwise rotating

When using any of these blades on a deck that original had offset blades, a spacer kit must be used it is part # 352542

    Hope this helps.

Pj, Would you send me the information that is needed to make my old deck like the new one?? Someone said that you had a template or something that you would send out.

Is this worth doing to mine? Seems easy enough. I'd give it a try if it made a big difference in cut quality. Where's the template?

Got the template. I was looking for more information before I let my dealer cut the deck. What are the spacers for, part numbers / cost for them.

The blade is no longer offset. The blade is a flat blade. To make up for the difference in the offset the spacer are need to make the blade the same height.
