A PVB retrofit on a weekend. Notice how the old AVB is playing the role of a temporary brace, while the new work is soldered in place.

Do you know how much that brass 90 costs off the top of your head? I feel like it's more than $7. I can see why you reused it.

  3. I'm trying. I'll find something. The air gap bckflw protection is being violated in the bottom part of the pic. No conduit fot the wire???!!! I'd use rectorseal instead of teflon myself.

I would like a better hookup for winterzing than a testcock valve

I think that 3/4 C x 1 MPT elbow 'books' at closer to thirty dollars by now, not that I've ever stocked one. I have copper fitting prices at hand, so I don't make under-billing errors. Copper and fitting prices are soaring.

I have a few systems I winterize through a testcock. Most of those involve plumbing that drains back to a cellar drain valve.

Now you're reaching - that isn't even my hose bib, and anyway, there isn't a rush to retrofit old hose bibs around these parts.
