My Grandfather used a machine just like that one when he used to have a landscaping business in the 30's and 40's. That was a top of the line machine .... it even had a motor ....
Hey I just bought that mower!! They salesman swore it was new, I want a refund.
I've had one it was even self propelled. It cut way too short, sold it for $150 to golf course guy. It was all original i think a 41 or 49. Its been a while.
I'll bet one with sharp blades and in good working order would cut pretty nice. Parts may be a little hard to find though.
I bet one in mint condition would go for a pretty penny
