While most college kids were cruising the beach, I was finishing up a landscape job that I've been working on in my spare time for the past couple weeks. The homeowner wanted fresh mulch, new borders, new beds by the driveway, and a new retaining wall/raised bed behind the deck. Here are some of the different areas, before and after.

Thanks, Penscape. Landscaping is just a sideline of my part-time mowing business. I try not to say no to my lawn care customers, so when they need fresh mulch, shrubs trimmed, or plants set out, I figure out how to do it really quick. I found out today that I really like planting--it has a high profit margin! Especially when I buy plants from our local high school FFA. They don't raise plants for a profit, so the prices are just enough to cover their costs.
