Here's a spreadsheet figuring cost(I think)

    Here is a spreadsheet I made to help figure cost. Just add your numbers to the yellow boxes and it will auto figure the rest. If there's something left out let me know. It shows (when first opened) starting out solo making 25k a year full time with no business profit. So, is it worth all the risk, HARD work, no business growth for 25k a year? Not to mention how many lawns would have to be cut a week to cover the $2,360.00 worth of cost.

    Looks good. It is very useful.

    Did you have a place to put advertisment costs?

    it doesn't take into account depreciation trucks/mowers/trailers last more than 1 season unless you have some serious problems

    At what rate/years would you depreciate? 20% a year over 5 years?

    Oh, forgot to add for repairs starting at year 2. We know they will be small repairs/oil changes ect... Now I have to make certain I keep enough clients for 5 years to cover my $1342.00 a week costs. 5 years!:dizzy:
