heres some pics of some homeade trimmer racks

    built racks with 2" angle and some scrap steel took me thirty min. easy to access and lockable later welded on trimmer line spool holder which is also lockable and uses a spring as tension

    loosen the nut with fingers and pull through small hole in bolt which is welded to trailor and the spring which you cant see along with the bungee cord keep it from unraveling its even lockable because that trimmer line is 25 a roll

    I like that trimmer line design alot that is awesome never seen something like that. all looks good

    here it is the rod is smaller on one end so the spring will never pop of the three large washers are spacers to make it tight the large sized rod is large enough to hold a padlock and the bungee also keeps it tight:cool2:

    Bill, have you had any problems with the trimmer line drying out and becoming brittle from sun exposure? I've heard this can become a problem and some guys like to periodically immerse their line in water to keep it fresh. I just ask because that looks like a big roll of line!
