I would say a couple inches...you see how it is rolled over well you know it is too high. As long as you really watch your mower height you can get away with it being higher. But....if you go below the green part then you have an effect call "sheeting" and that spot won't come out until next year. Mine is not sheeting but just ran out of water.

This is the kind of thing that can cause you to lose an account.

This first situation is chic flay and they kept turning off the irrigation. Because these restaurant are open so long, and limitations on water hours it is difficult. We moved the stations all around so watering near building didn't occur until they close. We have big signs on controller to call us if unit is shut off. If we lock the controllers then they turn off the backcheck. We got lucky and got a BIG rain a few days later.

This is a a Marriott and we was running around planting new flowers because the VP was coming and painting the grass and missed these dead trees. The irrigation was running and the grass was green don't know what happened.
Could have been the two hot days of 106F occured.

ok thanks for the recommendation.....I wasn't think but I can build a dam by wetting the mulch and stirring it while hosing it. And add coffee grounds.

Down in your part of Texas since Saturday, sage is blooming everywhere. We have hardly any where we are. Still can't see how y'all grow stuff in these rocks.

So these people tried crushed stone across entire front yard it rained and it washed onto street. Hoa notified them that they not in compliance so they took it to next step. So after putting $6500 they still don't have 20% grass.:hammerhead: little rebels that are misfits.
