Those turf tiger do require a little service. How about both wheel motors gone out. And what would a deck cost in a 72" model. That cushman is the first one I ever seen.

Here is another kind of business. This guy is a independent contractor working for the city of Austin. He grinds down uneven trip points between sidewalks. He does everything smaller than 2". He said they are looking for more contractors and just got a guy out of Houston. This might ranks up there with worst kind of jobs to have. He is using simple angle grinder with a gas generator and sweeper tagging along behind him. There has to be a better way surely.

Do you grease the front bearings?

I grease them every week now that said I don't think greasing those bearings makes little difference. When you take them apart you guickly see the cavity is full and it probably will hold a full gun worth. I also always find the stupid spanner is welded to the bolt and have to cut them out. I just don't see that grease working it way into the bearing area.

This is a new condo account we picked up and no we don't pick em for their looks just their money. The complaint was that water bills were toooo high and the system was running every day:dizzy: So I was sent in to do a quick look and the water spouts on some stations were huge. About 10 significant blowout. The irrigator went in and est. $600 of work. The response is they need to get other estimates. This is in the hottee tote part of town were all the intellectuals live in Austin close to down town. These units go for $1000 a month so...

Turf Tiger had a sidewall blowout. I searched the area and could not find anything that could have slashed that tire. Some ask why I carry a bunch of boards well those ones laying there is what I used to get it up off the ground. I took a tire off the Tiger Cub in the trailer to put on the Turf Tiger to get it home. And Scag wants $300 for a tire:dizzy: Local dealer has seen failures in the strands so I am going to inspect mine.

Guess that's a good case for keeping a bunch of tools with you. I never used to keep a 1/2 socket set with me...now I do LOL. Just took once.
