I am in the market for an inexpensive ZTR, I came across an M-50 for 5k. Can anyone give me some info or history on this machine? Is it reliable long term? How do they hold up? Is the stamped deck a big mistake or is it worth saving the extra money?

echovalley, did you get a new IS1500Z for that price? My dealer is quoting me $6800 for that machine. How did you get such a low price?

The cub is a good mower but the Ferris is a whole lot better.

I don't know about the m 50 ,but i bought a m-60 tank and love it . Cut cleaner then the Ferris 1500 or the 3000 and has held up just fine. Great mower. And i have five ferris mowers .
