Higher Ethanol % coming in fuel

    This can be good. Wow it wont do damage to one in seven cars on the road but they are still puching for approval.

    This isn't good for our equipment at all,talked to my dealer this A.M. and he said they have nothing except opti lube pre mixed fuel at $8qt. wonder if they make diesel string trimmers and blowers.LOL

    You're not getting this.

    This is part of the stimulous plan to help the economy. Increased percentage of ethanol reduces our dependence on foreign oil (thus reducing the trade deficit), while at the same time, increasing demand for new lawn equipment, service, and repairs.

    When it gets here, and in most places that won't be anytime soon, It will not be the only thing available for many years to come.

    Yea and pay 50 cent more per gallon. Farmers must need another raise. Soon the Farmers will wear Saudi type robes:hammerhead:

    i dont care if it is not harmful to engines, but i gather it aint the best for em and that is not ok with me and i hope it does not create widespread use

    Sorry if I am little behind, I talk to a dealer today who stated something needing to be added to the new diesel engines to make them burn hotter for the diesel?

    yeah ethanol is terrible for engines especially the 2-cycles. if you can find it or afford it run non-ethanol gas.

    but get ready guys...it's coming... there will be a day when there will be no more 2-cycle equipment. it will be a 4-cycle only world when the EPA gets done with us. the only thing I want a 4-cycle engine on is my mower!
