what is the highest hours you would buy a used machine with?
example, 500 hrs, 1200 hours, so on
Ive got an exmark with over 3000 on the original kohler. The only thing it uses is tires, belts, and plugs the norm.
we run 3 mowers 2 walkers and 1 gravley try to trade on every year with 1000 to 1200 hours cost use about 7 to8 dollars and hour to trade realy wiyh down time
Depends who owned the machine and how it was cared for. I would be weary of anything with more then 750-1000 hrs especially if it is only a couple years old. That kind of use would only mean that it has been used heavily and most likely in a commercial situation.
I had over 5000 hrs on a 48'' snapper walk behind before it dropped a valve 16 hp vanguard twin
I have been kinda of wondering the same so I will just jump in here. I am looking at buying a 2006 34 Z that has just under 500 hrs on a 15hp Kaw. Would anyone on here object to buying this machine if it was you. It has been meticulously maintained and comes with all paperwork.
I'd be more comfortable knowing that, have you tested it out, making sure everything's good...? whats the asking price..?
as far as belt drive wbs go...
if the deck and bars are in good shape... i will buy it...at the right price...
everything else can be replaced....I just bought an older 36 bobcat for 75 bucks... with a seized briggs 11 horse.... i have a 15 horse kohler..... another spare or e-bay machine for a few hours labor..
my wife hates this... untill something i have for 200 sells for 600...
Thats not a deal, more like steal....
$2700, They retail for 4500 or so
