I was wondering if anyone on here does highway maintenance and is it worth it? And if so what do you quote or bid usually and how is it done...per mile of road etc.

In the state of georgia some highways and roads I see being maintained by just random people or lco's.

I do not have a tractor and any pull behind equipment but I was wondering if the profit margin vs time invested would even be worth it.

I was already looking for picking up a tractor for when it ices/snows down here to do parking lots and such considering when there is minor ice or 1" of snow the whole city shuts down..figured it would be pretty good investment for those winters where we get some storms that roll through. Plus if not could use it on my hunting property.

But just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this that could help!
