Any of you guys tried hiring a sales person before, if so what type of sales were you guys aiming at? Business sales person, finanicla or horticultural sales person background?

What was their typical pay, hourly rate, salary?

Not trying to sway you from hiring anyone, or change your mind... but thats the part of the business that I am aiming to be at, and I'm gonna start doing more of that next year. I think I can make a lot more money being out selling my services, then actually out doing the physical work. I am also a very good salesperson and love doing it. It's a lot cheaper for me to pay an extra person to do the dirty work then it is for me to pay someone to sell my services. Have you thought about doing the selling yourself and taking a break from all the hard work? Or do you not want to do either anymore?

have your employees be salesman as well. Offer them incentives for bringing in customers.
