The stone here would be 1500 dollars. The culvert and ends 400 dollars. The dirt at least 700.
What do other people pay for materials?

I don't think that price is too bad the same job here it would be 1000 dollars for the gravel another 900 dollars in trucking the culvert pipe around 350 dollars. A 8 hour day to do the job with the skid steer 750-800. It would be a 3000 dollar job.

Here in my area the limestone would be about $1200, the dirt about $750, and the culvert about $300. So materials only about $2250 total.

The stone was 9.50 a ton

Heres a break down of what it cost me

    Crushed LimeStone $554
    10" culvert 20ft $240
Flaired ends for the culvert $175
    Permit $150
    $150 in fuel
So thats about 1300 right there

So for my skid and truck time for 6 hours I made about 2600

Yes I know its good money but I put most of my money back into the business.

The truck here will go for about 600-800 dollars a day. You get the stone much cheaper than I do. Here it goes for 20.00 a ton. We have mostly crushed granite.

I would have made around 1200 dollars but I do not have the overhead you do by owning my own dumptruck.

Look how high the b box is everyone of the houses in the neigbor hood was like that. I guess the guys putting them In must have not been able to read a blue print. and the town wont let you raise the dirt up to it. And they wont fix it either. It has to come outta your own pocket.

Nice split deck Imperial trailer, I'd like to get rid of my Butler tilt for a 20' imperial to put attachments up on the front of it.
