I've put 18 oz out of the 28 in the ground and (don't tell me rep but) I can't tell it's made that big of a difference. I know the synthetic lawn next door is popping green and mean supposedly as 10" roots. I have used N on every round but it only last about as long as it takes me to walk to me truck. Weeds they told me to only use 3/4 oz per M. My spurge problem has been unending. I'm not finishing out the year with Holganix, Im spraying uflexx to finish out the year. So at least they'll be green over winter.

I had lunch yesterday with a friend who is also my fert and chem rep. He gave me 3 pages describing the product and program. He told me about other sports turf folks on my side of the state using it (this is his first season selling it) and stressed a couple of times that the liquid product contains more beneficials than the granular. I believe he said the liquid Holganix needs to be refrigerated. I saw a sample of the granular, it looks sometching like a cross between Turface and a coated granular fertilizer.

I am still reviewing the printed material and an old thread here. There is not much of a chance I will try it but am interested in learning more until I decide. I said to him that it sounded like this would work better to maintain turf that was already in good condition than it would to get poor condition turf in gold condition. He said that was right.

Don't waste your money. I have spoken to guys from Indiana to rhode island and everywhere in between who have had nothing but problems with weeds, crabgrass, and especially grubs. The product in conjunction with reduced rates just does not work. They even gave one guy a complete refund!!!

I believe you,,, but I wonder,,, Why would it work and what is the scientific basis that claims it would work???
It is better when it can be discussed on merit rather than 'testimonials'... :)

Every time I went to my rep with concerns he would talk about recreational/ sports turf and how well they were doing. I asked him how many ounces per M were being applied well 14 or greater ounces at least monthly even if not more. So maybe if you could afford doing it in greater quantities it might be worth using. IDK?!
