I need some help. Could any of you pros explain what exactly a hollow grind on a lawn mower blade is. I recently ordered a Oregon grinder and it will reverse grinding direction for a Hollow grind. Could someone explain it to me? THANX, BRENT

For the purposes of cutting grass a hollow ground is not neccessary. But, any grinder will do a hollow ground. The fact that the wheel is round and you grind the blade on the face of the wheel and not the side makes a hollow ground.
