I was approached by HD to be a patio/wall installer for them. They are only looking for ICPI and NCMA installers. I don't have to buy any product from them, I use my own pricing, schedule, everything. I deal w/ the customer from start to finish. They just supply the leads! They say that we will get 10-12 leads per week. Anyone w/ experience? What do you think?

It does sound interesting, Chris, I was actually thinking about contacting them, although I don't know if we can support that much work.

I cant support that much either, but I may use it as a "jack the price waaayyy up and see if someone bites" kinda thing. As I get more info, I will post it.

There has to be a catch somewhere, look for it.

I'm sure they are not doing it just to be great people.

Keep in mind most people are going to use the HD Credit to get the job so you can get full price in many cases. Just sell the reasons for the pricing.

I had real shittly luck with HD Installation in my home and will likely have to sue them.

There was an article in hardscape mag a while back about a Pavestone installer doing all of HD's work....

I would think that HD would want you to use Pavestone, wouldn't they?
