Home made Proslide

    Has anyone tried to build their own Proslide?
    Any pics?

    I saw one on E-bay it was actually for sale with a mower..it looked like a POS. Had some sort of spring apparatus and a piece of plastic. My advice would be to buy the real thing...accept no substitute.

    i heard of someone making one out of a tractor trailer truck mud flap. It worked awesome for them.

    Well, I woke up yesterday with an idea. I took my kids' "magic carpet" roll-up snow sled, some angle iron, and 2 chains and came up with my own "proslide".

    It worked great. Obviously this wouldn't work in reverse, but for my yard in was perfect. I weigh 190# and my Lesco pulled me with no problems, and left a decent stripe.
