Is there anyway to make a homemade striping kit for an exmark? If so, what would I use and where would I get it at?

take a pvc pipe and put a chain through it and connect it to the mower. That's what I use but Im looking for a rubber flap to put across

This is what I have on the rear of my JD 727A. With the used semi mudflap, steel, point and bolts I have about $4.00 in it. It also sits constantly about 1/4 inch off of the ground so it folds the grass over much more drastically than a roller type that is attached to the mower deck and sits few inches above the ground.

I would think chains would damage turf in a nice lawn?
