Any advantage to the soon to be Honda 5.5 hp's over the Kaw. 6hp's on the Toro 21"s?

    No Suzuki's. Need more torque.

Kawi is good (except for the tiny gas tank)...

Honda is legendary (should come with larger gas tank) and a $100 premium...

I'm looking forward to trying the Honda on the Toro machine...

Let us know what you find out...

IN MY OPINION, the Honda is a gutless piece of trash. That engine is ok for routine weekly mowing if the grass is not too high. However, you can forget mulching if the mowing conditions get really tough. The engine will bog down and die. The Kawasaki will plow through the toughest mowing conditions you can ever have without bogging down. I have used mowers with both engines, and I will never own a Honda-powered mower again. also, you will find Honda parts to be a good bit more expensive.
I just grabbed up the last three Kawasaki-powered, Exmark/Toro 21" commercial mowers my dealer had. Those should last me for 6 or 7 years. :D
