Not sure if the right place for this but someone here must run/own/rent one.

I have a small honda 1500 watt which is good but in due time I will need another. Looking at a EB3800XA HONDA. Any insight on these units or others that you guys have?

Also looking for a good dealer? Nothing on ebay to speak of and no one around my area that sells them.

Get A price on A Multiquip, you will not be dissapointed I own 4 of them 1 is almost 20 years old and I can not imagine how many hours are on it, it's rough but it is just a back up, I have 3 with Wisconsin engines and 1 with a Honda. i don't think you can get the Wisconsins any more though. They are one of the most reliable peices of equipment I own. You will find them at A contractor supply store.

what do you want to do with your generator? Back up power for a house - get a 10,000 watt. Carry portable power in your truck? Most guys get around the 5,000 watt. I have one of both, and they are most useful. Honda motors both.

No, not running my house. Mainly tools for the odd-end jobsite I get into that never has an outlet where were working or no juice at all to plug any tools any.

We've got five Honda generators, EX350, EX1000, EX5000 and two EX6500s... all are awesome, just make sure you drain the fuel etc when they're ready to sit... generators that tend to get used rarely will gum up quickly.
