On the 21 inch Honda HRC 216, what is the best way to change the hydro oil, how often should it be changed and which oil should I use?

THe reason I ask is that if I idle the mower let's say for 5 mins after using it for an hour or two and engage the drive on the slowest possible setting, it will take up to 3 or 4 seconds before the mover moves forward. If the speed control is on fast, the mower will move instantly forward after engaging the drive. During use, there is no slipping, etc, the forward speed is within specs and the drive cable is adjusted correctly. I have now 500 some hours on the mower.

    Thanks for the help!!

    John,

I'm not sure what may be causing your unit to do that, I have yet to operate on one of these units. But, I did find the below stashed away in my arsenal of goodies, It may help a little.
