My new Honda 21 was AWESOME- I have had it for about a month and a half now, but last Friday on a few yards I was cutting, the self propelled started to CCRRRAAAWWWLLLLLL even at full speed on the throttle-

In fact, it was faster for me to push to beast rather than use the throttle-

I checked the throttle cable and the setting is still fine (as per the owenrs manual, the little arrow lines up perfectly with the indention)-

Today I took it off to check it out and low and behold the little machine is fine-

What is causing this and has anyone else experienced this same thing?

And no, I was not cutting wet high grass at all, in fact I was only taking off about a 1/2 in. of grass when it began to go so slow so the engine was not getting bogged down at all....

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Never mind- My transmission cable had been scrapped away and there for when engaged was becoming more and more stripped-

This caused less and less power being transferred to the tranny-

Have to be careful how I transport it!

    Grassin,
Glad to see that you solved your problem. How has the Honda functionned? Does it mulch very well?
