I'm planning on buying a 31cc Honda Trimmer and 31cc Honda Edger. They both have the 4 Cycle engines. Are these good trimmers. What other brands are making 4 cycle trimmers and edgers that would be worth buying. Thanks for your help.

I have two 31cc hondas, good trimmers, start great, run great but there are two things I don't like, they are much heavier than my echos and the way the shield is shaped it tends to throw clippings back at what you are trimming.

Is there a Stihl dealer in Greenville, Oh ?

If so, look at the KM 110 Stihl, and the string trimmer attachment plus the edger attachment.

This Stihl is a four cycle engine [overhead cam + valves] , but it is much lighter in weight than the Honda trimmer. The engine unit can accept several attachment tools, which will save a lot of money compared to the tools that have an engine for each implement.

Click on the Stihl icon at the top of this page and look it up.
