Don't want to start a war, but it seems that the Kawasaki has more power and torque than the available Honda? Would it then be a better option? I really like Honda engines but don't want that to be my only reason. Any suggestions?

    Both engines are great options.
The Honda is of newer technology and is a quieter engine.
Here are the hp ratings for each.

Honda's have proven to me to be more powerful and much quieter. We only sell the Super Duty's with the Honda's Now. But the Kawasaki's are still great reliable engines. But the same can be said for Honda.

i demo'd both the kawasaki and the honda....both were good engines but the honda was more responsive to loads put on it by heavier grass.

i am glad i bought the one with honda engine, though the kawasaki engine looked much cooler with the remote filter!!!
