Hooker aerator by JRCO

    Anyone use one before? Price is right for the production they claim....

    I works but leaves no plugs. Customers seem to like to see the plugs. Maybe that way they think you did something.

    I like the looks of it... but two questions come to mind.

    Can a hydro w/b push it? I'd think so...

    The soil is pretty rocky here, are the plug-type tines available for it?
    I would not want that hooker thing to till up a bunch of rocks.

    It is an aerator in the very weakest defination of the term. If you are not removing a plug of soil the hole will close with the next watering. So what are you really selling. They do this type of aeration on golf greens and it is called spiking. All they want is to vent the top layer for a short period mostly for water absorption. They do it about every week during the hot season.
    Coring Aeration is the only real answer to a quality aeration job. I personally want what I sell to represent me and that is quality.
