I just purchased a Galbreath 9000 lb hooklift with 6 containers. the plan was to put it on a 550 that I just bought but Ive decided finishing the shop im curently building is a better way to spend my money. The truck is a 91 i think i will have to check the title chevy 3500HD has 6.5 liter diesel, truck is in good shape but needs motor. Its the typical problem with the 6.5. New motor time. Has 19.5 tires, tread is about 90%. Basicly Im selling the hook lift and the containers and you get a free truck/ tires. Every thing is in good shape. The lift is operated off of a pump mounted on the motor so you dont have to worrie about a pto if you were toput it on a different truck. The lift is rated at 9000lbs Im asking $2000 per container 36" hook hight and $4500 for the lift. I would do a package deal for every thing for $14000 if separated the truck goes with the lift

Thanks, thats why i bought it I thought it would be great to be able to drop a container for the guys to fill and then go pick up the materials, mulch rock, ect and then when I get back switch the containers out and go and dump all the tear out junk. I was hoping to be able to cut down on trucks by useing the containers. I also do a lot of hydroseeding so I was gona have 2 1000 gal water tanks mounted on a set of frame rails so that The truck could drive back and forth to haul water and there wouldnt ever be any down time. Great plans but I have decided finishing the inside of my new shop and doing the offices would be a better investment at this point in time. Im sure I will regret it once I get back working but I need the office space. thanks for looking

well picasso what do you think its worth in your infinant wisdom The hook lift by its self it worth every bit of $4500 let alone that the truck has $500 in tires so you can scrap the truck which would pay for your shipping to your location. This is a Galbrenth hoist and they are not cheap and they are not junk, very high quality and very under rated. I would like for you to show me a simalar hook lift for sale at that price. You wont find one. the containers are in very good shape there not all banged up like the ones you see on ebay selling for $1300 to 1800 each so $2000 is a fair asking price given their condition. Im open to offers I know what I have in it and I actualy know what this is worth because This is the third set up I have purchased over the years. Please dont waste my time or others time by telling me its not worth the price You havent seen the condition it is in and its not junk.

The hook is 6 years old. The motor and truck have about 230,000 miles on it . The harmonic balancer came lose and wore down the end of the crank. the hydralic pump runs off the crank pulley so it puts a lot of strain on end of the crank, i was told it was common with the 6.5 diesel. If you have any other questions just ask thanks
