Horse tails?

    Hello has any one out there heard of using lime to control/kill horse tail in lawn and garden, or have you heard of a better way, I don't like using the horse tail spray in gardens in case of over spray appreciate any help I can get.- Thanks:)

    Never heard of lime controlling horsetail. Shouldn't be a problem in the lawn as mowing should discourage it but a garden is something else. Did you mean a vegie garden? Neal

    For horsetails in gardens I use amitrol. It takes at least a couple weeks to get knock down but lasts for a long time. Gets into the roots real good. I lawns, I use the same as for spraying any other weeds in lawns, par III.
