I have a 300' hose that I use for lawn spraying, if I cut 100' off, will this effect the pressure at the gun? It should increase, yes?
Less distance for the liquid to travel. Thank you. Martn.

It may increase but very little. Just recheck your calibration and pump settings. Its really not all about distance so to speak, but about friction. Once the line is pressurized, its, lets say, 100 psi. If the line is 1 foot or 1000 ft.. its still 100 psi. Now.. when liquid begins to flow, you introduce friction on a 1 ft line vs a 1000 ft line... this is where the pressure drop comes into play. Volume is really what you are concerned with anyway. May have to lower your pressure to keep the same volume.
