Brand new scag hydo walk, got aftermarket hour meter from dealer,

installed it myself, 59.6 hours on her and it stopped.

i have checked all the wiring, to the best of my knowledge

anyone ever hear of an hour meter just quitting

i cant remember what kind it is but it cost like 40 or 50 bucks

did you mount it using a rubber mounting bracket, meant for use in high vibration applications? If not that is probly your problem that the vibration got the best of it.

Should not have got aftermarket hour meter to begin with. Just bought two scag w/b's with dealer installed scag hour meters,50 bucks each. One quit with 51 hours on it, took to dealer, they checked wiring etc.new hour meter, warrenty work, don't skimp on something as important as a hour meter when buying new equiptment.
