How many hours can I expect to get out of a Lazer 60 with a 25 HP Kohler motor, it currently has like 650 hrs on it and has been maintained well... what can I expect in terms of hours before I am buying a new motor???

I think someone said in another post today that a general rule of thumb is 100 hours per horsepower. 2500 hours doesn't seem like too much for a well maintained motor.

I have an 04 lazer 52inch with a 27hp kohler that has just over 3000 on it. It seems to be showing its age now. Burns a little oil, but still runs and cuts great. I am just going to keep it till it blows, then go get a new one the next day.
