How can I get rid of this thing in my fescue lawn ? (pictures added)

    We live in Cary, NC. Our tall fescue lawn started to show this what looks like an aggressive crabgrass invasion.
    What is the fastest way to kill this during the summer ?

    Drive xlr8 at label rate twice

    Thanks for the feedback.
    Would doubling the label rate damage the tall fescue in any way ?

    No, use at correct rate. Use a crabgrass preventer in early spring of 2014.

    So where would one find this product as a homeowner? A quick google search brings up the regional distributor for 4 states.

    As long as you are using the correct MSO, non-ionic surfactant, drive works just fine at the label rate.

    And, the label is LAW. Don't be giving out info that could potentially get someone in trouble.

    I wasn't giving out advice to double it. The label calls for split apps. Sorry i didn't make that clear
