How come Hustler didn't put the diesel in the Super Z platform?

I'd sure love a Super Z with a Shibaura diesel! My Case tractor has a Shibaura and it is a very good engine. Dropped in a 15mph mower, that would be ideal!

It still has the same Hyrdo-Gear 21cc pumps from the Super Z but they changed the wheel motors. They're using Hydro-Gear PRM's. I would guess 18ci based on the 12mph top speed from the spec sheet. They look like a nice wheel motor.

Those 21cc pumps have to draw down alot of power. I wonder how many HP they take up on a machine like the Hustler Z with the 25hp diesel?
