How hard is it to rebuild a carb on a stihl 4-mix 110? I am about sick and tired of going to the dealer everytime one of these things go down and then picking it up and it still not working. I got the carb kit for $10... gaskets look easy, but all those little metal parts. Is it a pita or a walk in the park? Tips?

take a can of carb cleaner and use the red nozzle to spray out all of the holes on the carb, be careful not to get in eyes.

DO NOT USE CARBURETOR CLEANER! I know it sounds stupid, but do no use it. Your carburetor has a few check valves that can be ruined. Carburetor cleaner will dry them out. You should use brake cleaner to clean it. It will not harm the check valves. Make sure you install the diaphragms properly. They are really easy to rebuild...but I have done it a few hundred times! Good luck!

Do you use any special tools for the metal parts?
